The Procera All Ceram coping is made of densely sintered aluminum oxide with a purity of greater than 99.5%, giving it a flexural strength between 600-700 mpa. Analysis of the marginal opening of Procera cases has consistently shown them to be in the range of 45 to 60 microns. Captek is an internally reinforced gold material that exhibits the color, workability and nobility of pure gold along with the strength and stability of the platinum/palladium family of cast alloys. The composition is 88% gold, 4% platinum, 4% palladium, 3% silver and 1% iridium/ruthenium. All elements are high nobility and high purity. Unlike traditional alloys, with this composition Captek is not only strong and stable, but non-oxidizing and non-corrosive as well. This means that gray lines along the tissue line are eliminated.
